Aramaeo-Arabica et Graeca está orientada al estudio de las interrelaciones lingüísticas, textuales y culturales entre las tradiciones aramea, árabe y griega, con especial atención a los contextos de contacto, transmisión y transformación del saber en la Antigüedad tardía y la Edad Media. Su propósito es ofrecer un marco académico riguroso para el análisis comparado de textos y tradiciones que, a través de estas tres lenguas, e incluso de otras en contacto, articularon una parte importante del pensamiento religioso, filosófico y científico del Oriente Próximo y la Cuenca mediterránea, junto con sus áreas de influencia.
La colección acoge ediciones críticas, traducciones anotadas y estudios especializados que aborden cuestiones de filología, crítica textual y transferencia cultural. Aramaeo-Arabica et Graeca promueve investigaciones interdisciplinarias que integren perspectivas históricas, lingüísticas y teológicas, contribuyendo a una comprensión más profunda de las dinámicas de circulación del conocimiento. La colección aspira a consolidarse como un referente en el estudio de las tradiciones textuales compartidas y su impacto en la configuración del pensamiento premoderno.

Aramaeo-Arabica et Graeca is devoted to the study of the linguistic, textual, and cultural interrelations among the Aramaic, Arabic, and Greek traditions, with particular emphasis on contexts of contact, transmission, and transformation of knowledge in Late Antiquity and the Middle Ages. Its purpose is to provide a rigorous academic framework for the comparative analysis of texts and traditions which, through these three languages (and indeed others in contact) articulated a significant part of the religious, philosophical, and scientific thought of the Near East and the Mediterranean basin, together with their wider spheres of influence.
The series includes critical editions, annotated translations, and specialised studies addressing questions of philology, textual criticism, and cultural transfer. Aramaeo-Arabica et Graeca promotes interdisciplinary research integrating historical, linguistic, and theological perspectives, thereby contributing to a deeper understanding of the dynamics of the circulation of knowledge.
